When I chose the name NextGen Integrative Psychiatry, I wasn’t just naming a practice — I was creating a space built with you in mind.
“NextGen” stands for the next generation — the kids, teens, and young adults who are learning to navigate a world that moves fast and feels overwhelming at times. Whether you’re a child with big emotions, a teen trying to figure out who you are, or a young adult feeling stuck or anxious, you deserve a safe space to feel heard, understood, and supported.
This practice was created for you — and for the parents, caregivers, and families walking beside you.
At NextGen, I believe that mental health care should feel human. That means we listen without judgment, we slow down when life feels too fast, and we build care plans that fit your unique story, not just your symptoms.
The word “Integrative” is so important to because it means we care about the whole you — your thoughts, your feelings, your body, your energy, your environment, and the people in your life. Yes, medication can be helpful, and it is used when it’s needed — but we also talk about sleep, stress, nutrition, school, boundaries, and joy. Everything matters because you matter.
You may have noticed the fingerprint in the logo. That fingerprint represents individuality because no two people are the same. And at NextGen, your care will never be one-size-fits-all. We celebrate what makes you you and build a plan that fits your goals, your pace, and your voice.
We were inspired by something Maya Angelou once said:
“Make an impact on the world that can never be erased.”
And that’s exactly what we hope to do — by helping you feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to who you are.
Whether you're here for yourself or for someone you love, I am so glad you found us. At NextGen, you’ll always have a place to be real, to be supported, and to grow.
